Frank Leslie Sandford — Still Life Blue Vase
An original oil on canvas by California artist Frank Leslie Sandford, featuring a blue-green vase, grapes and orange-red fruit arranged around a wooden bowl. The softly brushed background and restrained palette give this still life a quiet, balanced presence.
Sandford was a former president of the California Art Club. The painting retains a 1958 California Art Club exhibition label from Descanso Gardens, identifying both the artist and the title, Still Life Blue Vase.
